Earth Cavern
Where Gods Sleep is an exploration adventure created in a day and a half for Ludum Dare 29. The theme for this jam was “Beneath The Surface”.
I had a few issues while working on this jam game. The original game I had been working on I ended up disliking and abandoning half way through the jam. I debated if I should continue, but wasn’t quite willing to give up altogether. I had also been sick for months before the jam and this was my first attempt at really pushing myself to work.
Not everything is right side up.
The game is sometimes confusing, and that wasn’t something I was able to remedy in the short time I had. But as long as you don’t get too concerned about “trying to get somewhere” and just enjoy the atmosphere, I think it can be an enjoyable experience.
The game also got a mention on Indie Statik’s Ludum Dare Highlights!
